Life’s Challenges

Life is full of challenges and questions:  Why am I here?  What is going to happen? Where is it all leading? How can I live a better life? 

One thing that brings us together as a group at ‘the-church-in-a-house’ is a desire to find answers and to help each other with many of these puzzling and sometimes tough issues.

What is it all about?

Looking around, there are very few things in our immediate surroundings or experience which have little or no purpose.  Taking this on a larger scale, we believe that we are part of a universe which has also been created for a purpose.  As part of God’s planned creation, we all have a part to play and are given freedom to make many different choices.  Some of these choices may be straight forward and others may be challenging or even life-changing.  

What are we here for?

We believe how we live and behave towards each other and the world about us during our life-time is something which our creator God is deeply and personally concerned about.  It seems incredible – and perhaps a little scary - that the most powerful force in the whole universe is interested in you and me!  Having been given the amazing and precious gift of life, we all have an opportunity to get to know God and His Son, Jesus Christ, better and to find out more about God’s greater purpose with the world.  We believe that is what we are here for.
