Foundations

Like any house, our church has foundations to provide strength and a platform to build upon.

The bible makes it clear what our foundation should be;-

“..built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together to become a holy temple in the Lord” (Ephesians 2:21-22)

Our general values and purpose are summarised opposite

Worship
To honour the creator-God and to celebrate his presence with passion and integrity

Discipleship
To encourage each other to develop our individual and collective discipleship – becoming more like Jesus as we grow in our understanding of him.

Sharing the gospel
To bring the gospel, the good news about the kingdom of God, to those who don’t know it. That everyone can share in God’s provision, having purpose in this life and true hope for the future.

Ministry
To care and serve the spiritual and, as best we can, the practical needs of others – to show the love of God and the Lord Jesus Christ in action.
