The Study

Christadelphians believe that:

- The one God created all things and is due honour and obedience;
- Humanity needs saving from sin and its consequences;
- Jesus is God's provision of salvation from sin - his life, death and resurrection have crucial meaning for each of us;
- Belief and adult baptism starts a challenging new life as a child of God;
- Jesus will return to the earth as the culmination of God's plan and purpose to bring out His Kingdom on earth;
- Jesus calls us to a life of hope, promise and rejoicing in the great things made possible for us by a loving Father God!

There are Christadelphians in over 80 countries in the world, and more than 300 churches in the UK alone.

The name 'Christadelphian' simply means "brothers & sisters in Christ". It describes a group of people committed to the idea that the Bible is central to a relationship with the God who made us and who sent his Son to save us.

We don't believe that we have all the answers or that we will ever stop learning (that's what's so amazing about the Bible!). We are convinced that the God revealed in the Bible wants to communicate with everyone and offer salvation to all through belief and baptism into the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are a lay community of believers, meaning that we have no ordained priests or paid offices - each plays their part with a caring family approach to worship and daily life, guided by prayer and Bible study; Our regular meetings focus on worship, Bible reading and study classes, children's and youth activities, and outreach.
